PROBLEM

A fire department’s truck engineers did not have a clear line of sight to see when bay doors were fully open or closed. To ensure trucks didn’t impact the door, they had to wait, wasting valuable response time.

SOLUTION

To prevent door impact and optimize response time, we recommended a different type of visual safety indicator. We installed seven LED door position light bars across the station that visually indicate when the door is closed (solid red), operating (blinking red) or fully open (solid green).
