Problem
A food manufacturer was experiencing problems with the doors to their meat curing rooms. The rolling doors dripped condensation, creating a safety hazard on the floor. In addition, the excess moisture increased the risks of bacteria growth and spoilage which would both destroy the product as well as violate health and compliance regulations.

 

Solution
DH Pace created a custom solution to meet the specific needs of the manufacturer’s process and the strict health, safety, and compliance requirements of a food manufacturing facility. The existing rolling doors were removed, and custom-designed, oversized swinging food-grade doors were installed. At each curing room, a single one-piece swinging door was installed in the existing 10’ wide x 19’ high opening. The result is a safer environment for employees in the facility and a reduced risk of food spoilage or inspection violations for the manufacturer.
